What we evaluate

Gold Bullion

American Eagles, Buffalos, Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, bars, and other investment gold.

Silver Bullion

Silver Eagles, Maple Leafs, rounds, government-minted coins, and bars in common weights.

U.S. Coins

Pre-1933 gold, Morgan and Peace dollars, 90% silver, graded coins, and inherited accumulations.

Bullion value and collectible value

Some coins trade primarily for their metal content. Others may carry collectible value based on date, mintmark, condition, rarity, or certification. We look at both before making an offer.

Keep original packaging

If coins are in holders, capsules, tubes, mint packaging, or certified slabs, leave them as they are and bring everything with you.

Gold coins and bars we buy

Premier Gold Buyers evaluates widely traded investment products from government mints and established refiners. Common gold coins include American Gold Eagles, American Gold Buffalos, Canadian Gold Maple Leafs, South African Krugerrands, British Britannias, Austrian Philharmonics, and pre-1933 U.S. gold coins. We also review fractional coins, commemoratives, certified coins, and inherited collections.

Gold bars may include products from PAMP Suisse, Valcambi, Credit Suisse, the Perth Mint, the Royal Canadian Mint, and other recognized refiners. Original assay cards and packaging can help establish identity and condition, but unpackaged bars are also welcome for evaluation.

Silver coins, rounds, and bars

We buy American Silver Eagles, Canadian Silver Maple Leafs, British Britannias, Morgan and Peace dollars, 90% U.S. silver coinage, generic rounds, and silver bars in common investment sizes. Recognized vintage and modern refiners include Engelhard, Johnson Matthey, Sunshine Minting, PAMP Suisse, and the Royal Canadian Mint.

Bulk tubes, monster boxes, mint sets, proof sets, certified coins, and mixed inherited groups can all be reviewed. You do not need to calculate the silver content or separate every type before visiting.

Authentication matters

Counterfeit coins and bars can closely resemble genuine products. We consider dimensions, weight, magnetic response, packaging, and professional precious-metal testing methods appropriate to the item. Keep assay cards, certificates, receipts, and original packaging whenever possible.

Metal value, premiums, and collectible value

Bullion is not valued from spot price alone. The offer may reflect metal content, live market conditions, product size, mint or refiner, condition, authenticity, and current dealer demand. A one-ounce government-minted coin may trade differently from a generic round, and a desirable vintage bar may carry a premium beyond its silver content.

Coins with potential numismatic value require additional review. Date, mintmark, grade, rarity, surface condition, and third-party certification can matter. We look for collectible value before treating coins solely as bullion.

Should I remove coins from holders?

No. Leave coins in capsules, tubes, albums, mint packaging, or certified slabs. Original holders may protect condition and provide useful information.

Do I need an inventory?

No. An inventory can be helpful for a large collection, but it is not required. Bring the entire group and any paperwork you have.

Can you evaluate jewelry too?
